3rd Regional SEE Capital Markets Conference

On November 9th 2010 the Banja Luka, Belgrade, Ljubljana, Macedonia, Montenegro, Sarajevo and Zagreb Stock Exchanges have jointly organized the third regional investor conference of SE European capital markets. Their goal is to promote top regional companies and their capital markets, and to attract new investors.

The conference have showcased listed companies from all these exchanges, and also offered one-on-one meetings with investors.

A total of 21 regional companies have presented themselves at the event, of which the following are from the Zagreb Stock Exchange: the consumer goods manufacturer and distributor Atlantic Grupa, the technology company Ericsson Nikola Tesla and the telecommunications company Hrvatski Telekom.

Regional roadshows for portfolio investors from the Region are one of the activities anticipated by the Memorandum of Partnership that the exchanges signed in December 2007. Their purpose is to enhance the visibility of the regional market and its companies.

The total of 21 listed companies from the SEE region who accepted the investment bank's invitation is a new record this year and around 65 Austrian and international investors took part in the event: 170 one-on-ones with a competent investor community reflected the significant interest in the required flow of information.

The companies from the following countries answered investors' questions at the conference:

Croatia:  The technology company Ericsson Nikola Tesla, the telecommunications company Hrvatski Telekom, and the consumer goods manufacturer and distributor Atlantic Grupa.
Serbia:  Construction company Energoprojekt holding, food producer Sojaprotein, rubber producer Tigar and the bank Komercijalna Banka.
Slovenia:  Poslovni sistem Mercator business group, the bank Nova KBM, port and logistics supplier Luka Koper and appliance manufacturer Gorenje.
Macedonia:  Pharmaceutical producer Alkaloid and the banks Komercijalna Banka and Stopanska Banka Bitola.
BiH:  The bank Nova Banka and the supplier and electronics manufacturer JP Elektroprivreda BiH.
Montenegro:  The Montenegrin wine producer 13. jul. Plantaze and telecommunications company Crnogorski Telekom.
Bulgaria:  Pharmaceutical company Sopharma.
Romania:  The two largest listed energy suppliers, Transelectrica and Transgaz.
