Company profile
Mon Perin d.d., headquartered in Bale, was established in 2005 with a unique management model. The company is founded on participatory and sustainable entrepreneurship, with the aim of enhancing the natural and cultural beauty of the local area. In 2019, Mon Perin transitioned from a limited liability company to a joint-stock company, and in 2022 its shares were listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. Today, the company has over 1,000 shareholders, including from the very beginning the residents of the Municipality of Bale-Valle and friends of Bale, and now also institutional investors and other small shareholders who have recognized the potential of the project.
The company’s core business is providing accommodation services in the leisure tourism segment. Mon Perin’s portfolio includes three properties: Camping Resort Mon Perin and two holiday villas - Design Villa Noble with Spa and Luxury Town House Corto Bechera, both located in Bale. The total accommodation capacity is 2,800 guests, comprising 500 pitches for campers and caravans, 211 mobile homes, 36 luxury glamping villas, and 2 high-end villas in Bale. This diversified accommodation portfolio enables Mon Perin to attract a wide range of guests, from families with children to those seeking a unique experience and a high level of service in an authentic Istrian setting. The company records over 330,000 overnight stays and generates €14 million in annual revenue.
Mon Perin aims to be recognized as a company that sets new standards in camping tourism and acts as a driver of change. To this end, it continuously invests in improving the quality of its accommodation units, expanding and enhancing the resort’s offerings, and introducing innovations. Innovation is one of Mon Perin’s core values, as evidenced by two national awards for the most innovative campsite in Croatia: in 2019 for the development of the Paleo Water Park, an educational and recreational concept, and in 2024 for the construction of the first wellness & spa center within a campsite in Croatia.
The company’s long-term strategy focuses on developing year-round operations at the Camping Resort, with an emphasis on luxury stays. This approach aims to increase the number of permanent employees, further improve service quality, and drive revenue growth.

Reasons and objectives for stock exchange listing
Mon Perin was founded at the end of 2005 as a limited liability company by more than 700 members, with a unique management model emphasizing sustainability and the development of our local community.
From the very beginning, one of the company’s long-term goals was the listing of its shares on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. The core principles of Mon Perin’s business ranging from transparency to sustainability are also key values promoted by the Zagreb Stock Exchange, making listing a natural step forward given the various benefits it brings.
Given the large number of shareholders even prior to the listing, going public significantly simplified the process of buying and selling shares, increased liquidity, ensured more transparent price discovery, and reduced transaction costs.
Being listed on the Exchange has greatly enhanced the company’s visibility and recognition as one of the leading and most innovative tourism companies in Croatia. This, in turn, strengthens the company’s image within the broader community.
The listing has also led to increased business transparency, as the company became subject to stricter regulatory frameworks and reporting standards. This contributes to and ensures effective and high-quality corporate governance.
Furthermore, the listing attracted new shareholders, including institutional investors and a broader base of retail investors. Ultimately, the Exchange facilitates easier access to additional capital, should it be needed for further modernization, business development, or enhancement of services and amenities for guests.

Sustainability
From the very beginning, sustainability has been one of the company’s core business priorities. Mon Perin’s unique management model is not only based on a distinctive ownership structure but also on continuous investment in the local community, youth, and employment of local residents. The company places strong emphasis on harmony between humans and nature, and these values guide its business decisions.
Mon Perin’s environmental responsibility is reflected in its adherence to environmental protection standards, including active efforts to reduce the consumption of resources such as water and energy. Renewable energy is used through solar panels, and all green areas within the resort are irrigated using treated wastewater. Eco-friendly lighting has been implemented throughout the resort to preserve the natural rhythms of local wildlife, and waste is systematically collected and sorted. By expanding the electric vehicle charging network and offering free electric vehicles to guests, Mon Perin promotes e-mobility. Careful planning of accommodation capacities ensures minimal spatial impact. The company has also launched a project to revitalize local farmland, where organic, locally grown fruits and vegetables are cultivated. These are distributed free of charge to guests and used in the resort’s restaurants.
The company’s social responsibility efforts focus on all its stakeholders: employees, customers, shareholders, the local community, and business partners. Special attention is given to the local community. The company prioritizes the employment of local residents, funds free kindergarten for all children in Bale, provides free hot meals for primary school students, co-finances allowances for newborns, and supports the local pensioners’ association. Additionally, Mon Perin co-finances cultural and entertainment events in the municipality and organizes free tourist train transport between Bale and the resort for both guests and residents of Bale.
