The CEE Investment Opportunities investment conference, traditionally organized by the Zagreb Stock Exchange and the Ljubljana Stock Exchange for more than a decade, was held in Zagreb.

Since 2014, the conference has brought together leading listed companies and institutional investors from Croatia, Slovenia and abroad, providing a platform for one-on-one meetings and the direct exchange of information.
This year's edition gathered 19 companies listed on the Ljubljana and Zagreb Stock Exchanges, as well as 30 investment firms and banks represented by more than 50 analysts and investors from the region and abroad. During the event, more than 250 meetings were held.

The conference also featured a presentation of the Slovenian and Croatian capital markets, while the investment potential of the region was presented by Tia Marciuš, Portfolio Manager, and Marin Orel, Analyst, from InterCapital.

The strong turnout of companies and investors at this year's conference confirms the continued growth of interest in the Croatian and Slovenian capital markets. More than 250 meetings held in a single day demonstrate the importance of such platforms in connecting issuers with domestic and international investors.

“Together with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, we continue to build bridges between companies and the investment community and to promote the investment opportunities our region has to offer. We believe that direct meetings, the exchange of information and increased visibility of listed companies contribute significantly to the development of the capital market and to strengthening investor confidence,” said Ivana Gažić, President of the Management Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange.

Marko Bombač, CFA FRM, President of the Management Board of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange also commented: "The CEE Investment Opportunities Conference once again confirmed its role as an important platform for enhancing the visibility of capital markets in the region. Growing interest from international investors from Germany, the United States, Poland, Estonia, and other markets demonstrate that, supported by favorable macroeconomic prospects, the region is becoming increasingly relevant to global capital. At the same time, this interest should not be taken for granted—it must be justified through greater market liquidity, transparency, high-quality issuers (including new listings), and a stable business environment. At the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, together with the Zagreb Stock Exchange, we will continue to support initiatives that connect capital markets, increase the region’s international visibility, and create tangible investment opportunities.“

The aim of the conference is to facilitate access for domestic and international investors to leading Croatian and Slovenian companies, thereby enhancing their visibility and supporting potential liquidity growth. The event provides a unique opportunity for investors to gain direct insight into the operations of companies listed on the Zagreb and Ljubljana Stock Exchanges and to develop a broader understanding of the regional investment environment.

The Zagreb Stock Exchange and the Ljubljana Stock Exchange will continue to implement both joint and individual initiatives aimed at strengthening investor interest and confidence among domestic and international investors alike.
