News: The 15th educational event for issuers was held

The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency, the Central Clearing Depository Company and the Zagreb Stock Exchange held the 15th annual training for companies whose securities are listed on the regulated market of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, with the participation of about 80 issuer representatives.

Ivana Ravlić Ivanović, Head of the Sector for Banking, Accounting and Auditing, and Amalija Jurin, Head of the Service for Accounting, Auditing, Financial Reporting and Sustainability Reporting of the Ministry of Finance, presented news related to the Accounting Act and the Auditing Act, and Andreja Hašček, Head Directorate for the Supervision of Issuers of the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency, presented on the improvement of corporate governance.

There was also talk about the research of the CFA Society Croatia, which represents the basis for the capital market development strategy, which Maja Bešević Vlajo, president of the CFA Society Croatia, spoke about, detailing the research on the views of issuers regarding the capital markets and the necessary improvements. Continuing on that topic, Vanja Dominović, Head of the Department for Financial Institutions and Macroeconomic Analysis of HGK, presented the initiative for the establishment of the Community of Issuers at HGK.

The ESG issuer ranking project was presented by Ksenija Petričević from Ernst & Young Croatia, manager in the Department of Financial Accounting and Sustainability Consulting.
The meeting was concluded with lectures on transaction accounts and reporting of issuers' assemblies via Central Clearing Depository Company, which were discussed by Valerija Bezak Kecerin, director of the Department of Operational and Legal Affairs, and Danijela Vukoja, expert associate for corporate actions from the Central Clearing Depository Company.

In addition to its educational character, the aim of this event is to encourage open dialogue among participants in the capital market so that topics of interest to all market participants can be addressed directly.
