Zagreb Stock Exchange and Span signed a contract on the listing of Span's shares on the Official Market of the Zagreb Stock Exchange. The contract was signed by Nikola Dujmović, President of the Management Board and Chief Executive Officer of Span, and Ivana Gažić, President of the Management Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange.A total of 1,960,000 ordinary shares with a nominal value of HRK 10.00 (ZSE: SPAN; ISIN: HRSPANRA0007) were listed, and previously 578,200 shares, or 29.5 percent of the share capital, were available to investors through a public offering. The first day of trading will be September 23, 2021.
"We are extremely pleased with how Span realized its IPO, the whole process was done very professionally. The interest was really high, which clearly shows how the company is perceived by investors, which was certainly influenced by the fact that the IT sector is one of the most globally attractive for investment. I am sure that Span will encourage other companies to start thinking about going public and to do so, because it is quite clear that there are enough funds at home and investors who are willing to invest in shares", said Ivana Gažić, President of the Management Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
"Demand for shares significantly exceeded supply, all shares were sold at the maximum price in the offered range in the amount of HRK 175 and a total of HRK 101.2 million was raised. With more than a thousand new Span shareholders, including institutional investors, a lot of small investors and our employees, we have achieved a balanced structure with which Span enters a new development phase of the business. I believe that the listing of Span shares on the Official market of the Zagreb Stock Exchange will have a positive effect on the Croatian capital market, which in our opinion should be encouraged taking into account the importance it has for the entire Croatian economy", said Nikola Dujmović, founder and CEO of Span.
