New ETF Tracks 30 Leading Stocks from the Warsaw Stock Exchange

The listing of the InterCapital Poland WIG30TR UCITS ETF was ceremonially marked at the Zagreb Stock Exchange.
It is the first ETF fund to provide domestic investors with exposure to the Polish equity market through the WIG30TR index, which includes 30 leading and most liquid stocks listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

In her opening speech, Ivana Gažić, President of the Management Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, emphasized the importance of expanding the range of investment products and strengthening regional cooperation in the capital market.
The audience was also addressed by the Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Croatia, Paweł Czerwiński, who highlighted the importance of deepening financial cooperation between the two countries.
Sergiusz Nowak, Deputy Director of Strategy at the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW), shared further details about Polish ETFs and the success of the Warsaw Stock Exchange.
On behalf of InterCapital ETF, a presentation on the new InterCapital Poland WIG30TR UCITS ETF was delivered by Krešo Vugrinčić, President of the Management Board, and Đivo Pulitika, Member of the Management Board.
Poland is no longer a small CEE market. Today, it is an economy worth more than one trillion dollars, with growth above the European average and a capital market that still trades at a certain discount compared to developed European markets. That is precisely why we believe it is important to provide domestic investors with easy access to this market through an ETF listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange, said Krešo Vugrinčić, President of the Management Board of InterCapital ETF.
Our goal is to continuously expand the availability of investment solutions covering relevant regional and European markets for Croatian and regional investors. After Croatia, Slovenia, and Romania, Poland is the logical next step: it is the largest economy in Central and Eastern Europe and a market that combines size, growth, and capital market depth, Vugrinčić added.

The InterCapital Poland WIG30TR UCITS ETF tracks an index of the 30 most liquid stocks listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. WIG30TR is a total return index, meaning that it includes dividends in its performance calculation, not just stock price movements. Companies included in the index also own fashion brands such as Reserved, Sinsay, Cropp, Mohito, CCC, and Pepco, as well as the studio behind the well-known video games The Witcher and Cyberpunk 2077.
