News: "CEE Investment Opportunities" conference began in Zagreb

The two-day investment conference of the Zagreb and Ljubljana stock exchanges "CEE Investment Opportunities" began in Zagreb.

The event has traditionally taken place every spring in Zagreb since 2014, and was conceived as a meeting place for Slovenian, Croatian and international investors and eminent issuers from the Zagreb and Ljubljana Stock Exchanges, with the aim of enabling direct contact through a series of individual meetings in one place in a short period of time. companies and investors.

In addition to Croatian and Slovenian companies, a company listed on the Bucharest Stock Exchange participated in this year's event. A total of 16 companies participated.

Participation was registered by 26 investment companies and banks, represented by 45 analysts and investors from the region and abroad, and in total they will hold around 170 meetings with the listed companies.



As part of the event, a presentation of the Slovenian, Croatian and Romanian capital markets was held, whose potential was presented by Đivo Pulitika, fund manager of InterCapital Asset Management.

On that occasion, Ivana Gažić, President of the Management Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, said: We are happy that this event has grown into one of the central meeting points of the domestic and regional investment community in the last ten years. We are trying to expand participation to the region and include companies listed on stock exchanges from the surrounding area and bring in a larger number of foreign investors. We need greater visibility of the region on the investment map, and events like this are one of the steps on that path. It is important to maintain direct contact with companies and investors.

The main goal of the event is to facilitate domestic and foreign investors' access to eminent Croatian and Slovenian companies, thereby increasing their visibility and potentially liquidity. The event represents a unique opportunity for investors to get to know not only companies listed on the Zagreb and Ljubljana Stock Exchanges, but also investment opportunities in the wider region.

The Zagreb and Ljubljana Stock Exchanges will continue with individual and joint activities in the future in order to increase the interest and strengthen the confidence of domestic and foreign investors.
