The Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency, the Central Depository and Clearing Company, and the Zagreb Stock Exchange held their 14th annual education event aimed at companies whose securities are listed on the regulated market of the Zagreb Stock Exchange.This year's educational event was also held virtually, and more than 100 representatives of issuers participated. They were presented with the latest updates related to capital market regulations and other related topics.
On this occasion, representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development also announced a corporate governance education program, which will be a continuation of the project to revise the Corporate Governance Code of HANFA (Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency) and the Stock Exchange. The project is being implemented with financial support from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
The program consists of 5 modules that will take place from late September to mid-November. It will be led by experts from the global consulting firm Morrow Sodali, specializing in corporate governance among other areas.
In addition to its educational character, the intention of this event is to stimulate an open dialogue among participants in the capital market in order to address topics of interest to all market participants through direct contact.
