The guests and awardees were addressed with introductory words and greetings by Ms. Ivana Gažić, President of the Management Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, Ante Žigman, Phd, the President of the Board of the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (Hanfa), and State Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Mr. Davor Zoričić.

The Zagreb Stock Exchange Awards Committee decided on the awards in the following categories: Golden, Silver and Bronze Share of the Year, then Golden, Silver and Bronze Member of the Year, Award for Contribution to Capital Market Development, and the Zagreb Stock Exchange Academy Award for Contribution to Capital Market Education.

The Golden Share of the Year award was presented to Končar, and accepting it on behalf of the Company, the President of the Management Board of Končar, Mr. Gordan Kolak, stated: The implemented strategic and operational changes and the agile and successful adaptation to the requirements of the new electricity era have ensured KONČAR results that are many times higher than those achieved five years ago. This was also reflected in the share price, which has increased by 2.3 times since the beginning of this year alone. We are proud to have led the list of the most traded shares, and when we analyze all issues of KONČAR Group shares (KONČAR d.d., KONČAR D&ST ordinary and preferred shares and Dalekovod d.d.), the share in this year's total turnover rises to almost 23%. We would like to thank the Zagreb Stock Exchange for this valuable recognition, which represents the crowning achievement of all our achievements this year.

The Silver Share of the Year award was accepted by Mrs. Martina Dalić, President of the Podravka Management Board on behalf of the awarded Company.

The Bronze Share of the Year award was given to Hrvatski Telekom d.d., which was accepted by Mr. Matija Kovačević, Member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer.

We are pleased with the impressive return of the ZSE stock indices in 2024, and we look forward to 2025 with joy and optimism. This valuable award motivates us and obliges us to continue working on the development of the domestic capital market. There are still many challenges on this path, but I believe that joint cooperation of all stakeholders can yield concrete results.
The Silver Member of the Year is Privredna banka Zagreb d.d. The award was accepted by Mr. Krešimir Kurtić, Director of Brokerage Operations, who stated: We are proud of this award, which we received in a very challenging business environment, and it is recognition of our continuous contribution to the domestic capital market. We are honored to be among the companies awarded the Member of the Year, which confirms ZABA's active role in the Croatian capital market, both by providing investment services for clients of all categories - retail, corporate and institutional, and by providing market making services on the Zagreb Stock Exchange. With its high-quality and dedicated approach, Zagrebačka banka not only creates additional value for clients, but also participates in the development of the Croatian capital market, ensuring greater volumes and liquidity through market making services, said Mr. Slaven Štefanec, Director of Brokerage Operations, accepting the award on behalf of Zagrebačka banka.

The award for contribution to the capital market development was presented to the CFA Association Croatia, which was accepted on this occasion by the Association's president, Ms. Maja Bešević Vlajo.

This year's winner of the Zagreb Stock Exchange Academy Award for contribution to capital market education is the Bjelovar School of Economics and Bureaucracy. The school's principal, Mr. Vladimir Štefanec, accepted the award: For decades, the Bjelovar School of Economics and Bureaucracy has been a leader in many innovative ideas that it successfully implements in the teaching process, thereby raising the quality of teaching and making it more interesting. The school is a leader in many innovations in education that go beyond classic classroom teaching, and we strive to be a "different" school and prepare students for the labor market as best as possible. Through the quality and creative work of current and former teachers and the great contribution of the students themselves, the school has gained a high level of recognition throughout Croatia, and I believe that this award is a confirmation of quality work and an incentive for new successes.
