The Zagreb Stock Exchange and the Croatian Financial Services Supervisory Agency (CFSSA) organized the first of a total of five modules of the educational program on corporate governance entitled "Corporate Governance and ESG Development".The program is realized with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and the lecture was given by representatives of the global corporate consulting company Morrow Sodali, which, in addition to international experience, also has extensive experience on the Croatian market, including the revision and implementation of the Croatian Code of Corporate Governance of the Zagreb Stock Exchange and CFSSA in 2019.
In the first module, general topics of corporate governance and its importance, as well as key trends in corporate governance, in Croatia and globally, were covered in a very practical and interactive way. On this occasion, the participants got an insight into the best Croatian and international corporate management practices, practical aspects of management and supervisory board activities, and the ways in which all company stakeholders create prerequisites for acting in accordance with the highest ethical and good corporate governance standards.
The lecture was attended by almost 180 representatives of companies listed on the Zagreb Stock Exchange and other participants interested in the topic of corporate governance.
