Successful start of the 5th annual Slovenian and Croatian Investor Days
The fifth edition of the Slovenian and Croatian Investor Days, a two-day event, began its successful first day in Zagreb.

The event has become a traditional event taking place in May of every year offering investors one-on-one meetings with listed companies. Due to the growing interest of investors each year, last year the organisers decided to extend the event into a two-day event in order to be able to offer to as many investors as possible the opportunity to meet with the company representatives.

This year five  Slovenian and eleven Croatian listed companies of the highest quality are participating in the Conference: AD Plastik, Arena Hospitality Group, Atlantic grupa, Hrvatska elektroprivreda, Hrvatski telekom, INA - Industrija nafte, Intereuropa, Luka Rijeka, Petrol, Podravka, Pozavarovalnica Sava, Tankerska Next Generation, Telekom Slovenije, Valamar Riviera, Zagrebačka burza, Zavarovalnica Triglav.

The event is being attended by 25 investment companies and banks and 55 analysts and investors from Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Great Britain, Hungary and Slovenia. The companies will hold as many as 197 individual and group meetings.

For this occasion Mrs. Ivana Gažić, President of the Management Board of the Zagreb Stock Exchange, stated: When we started 5 years ago with organizing this event, we wanted to make it easier for companies and investors to connect  and to present our two related markets through this common platform. The event has surpassed our expectations and has grown to a two-day conference, gathering around one hundred of representatives of eminent issuers from the Zagreb and Ljubljana Stock Exchanges, as well as investors from Croata, Slovenia and abroad. We are extremely pleased with the development of this event and the cooperation with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and will continue to work together with issuers to increase the visibility of our markets.

Mr Aleš Ipavec, President of the Management Board of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange further added: Both, Ljubljana and Zagreb Stock Exchanges, have been closely working together for the past couple of years and we believe that it has been a successful collaboration. Both markets are similar and we can see some positive outcome as a result of these joint efforts. Local and international investors actively participate in a variety of events, from investors conferences to educative events. We believe that we can raise the bar on possible collaboration even higher and we are really looking forward to what the future holds, especially for our Prime market companies.

The main goal of the event is to facilitate the access of Slovenian and Croatian listed companies to local and international investors and thus strengthen their visibility and liquidity. The event is a perfect opportunity for investors and analysts to learn more about the best Slovenian and Croatian listed companies.

The Zagreb and Ljubljana Stock Exchanges will continue with individual and joint activities to increase investors’ interest and to further strengthen the existing trust of local as well as international investors.
