The Ljubljana and Zagreb Stock Exchanges jointly hosted the investment conference "CEE Investment Opportunities" at the Grand Hotel Union in Ljubljana.
This event, which has been taking place since 2014, provides a valuable opportunity for investors and analysts to deepen their insights into the largest Slovenian and Croatian companies listed on the stock exchange through engaging one-on-one meetings.

Slovenian companies: Krka, NLB, Petrol, Sava Re, Telekom Slovenije, Triglav Group, Cinkarna Celje, Luka Koper
Croatian companies: AD Plastik, Atlantic Grupa, Arena Hospitality Group, Hrvatski Telekom, Podravka, Span, Valamar Riviera, Končar Elektroindustrija.
More than 35 analysts and investors from Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Sweden and Estonia actively participated in the conference and held almost 200 meetings.
Both the Ljubljana and Zagreb Stock Exchanges remain committed to conducting individual and joint activities to stimulate investor interest and strengthen the trust of both local and international investors in the future.

At the event, we had a chance to listen to the presentation of the Slovenian and Croatian capital markets by Raiffeisen Bank International. This was followed by a presentation from the State secretary at the Ministry of Finance, Nikolina Prah, who outlined measures within the framework of the Slovenian capital market development strategy. In addition to announcing new issues of retail bonds and activities to improve financial literacy, she provided a detailed introduction to individual investment accounts, which aim to encourage small investors to activate dormant capital.

The central part of the event featured a panel discussion on the development of the Slovenian capital market, with participation from:
- Blaž Brodnjak, President of the Management Board at NLB,
- Matko Maravić, CEO of InterCapital Inc.,
- Bojan Ivanc, Chief Economist at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (GZS),
- Marko Bombac, President of the Management Board at Ljubljana Stock Exchange,
- Nikolina Prah, State secretary, Ministry of Finance.
Panellists expressed their support for the introduction of individual investment accounts and emphasized that achieving the set goals requires introducing incentives for domestic market investments and increasing the maximum contribution limits.
